WHO WE ARE

Westoak Woods is neither a building nor a program. Our church is people! We are all imperfect (Romans 3:23), but we look to Jesus for salvation and help. We gather regularly for worship and for discipleship. Worship helps us get closer to God, and discipleship helps us walk as Jesus walked.

Westoak Woods is rooted in the Baptist tradition. We recognize that denominational identities evoke different meanings for different people. At Westoak Woods, we identify being Baptist by highlighting the priesthood of all believers, soul competency, religious freedom, and Bible freedom. For a detailed perspective on our views, we invite you to examine the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message. We also welcome people from other traditions and denominations to worship and fellowship with us.

You will find our church members excel at hospitality! We are a friendly church that is truly interested in people without bias or judgment. You’re welcome to participate with us.

BECOME A MEMBER

A church member is a person who is committed to fulfilling The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) specifically with Westoak Woods Baptist Church and is entitled to vote on matters of the church. We would value your membership with our community. Membership is open to those who have accepted Christ as their Savior and have followed through with baptism by immersion. Our pastoral staff are happy to walk through the process with you and we’d love to celebrate with you.
