Dr. James Hassell is a mission-minded pastor with 15 years of pastoral experience.  A Texas native, Dr. Hassell is an alumni of Hardin-Simmons University and Truett Seminary at Baylor University. He has pastored in multiple churches across the state and even nationwide. He is the author of two books, Seeing New Light and Walk as Jesus Walked.

He is a pastor who cares deeply about the congregation, preaches from the Bible, walks upon a strong foundation of prayer and Bible study, and centers congregational life on Jesus Christ.

Dr. Hassell’s wife, Shannon, loves being in ministry and serving the Lord through the local church.  James and Shannon are college sweethearts and have been married for eighteen years. They have two children.
